A person may disappear from the county roster because of bond release, court release, transfer to another county, transport to NMCD after sentencing, federal custody, ICE custody, or a data-refresh setting. If a photo was visible during booking and later disappears, that does not prove the record was deleted. It may mean the public roster no longer displays the photo. For older photos, use NextRequest and cite the booking date range.
Note: For recent arrests, allow time for intake and roster refresh before treating a missing photo as a final answer.
Grant County Mugshot Removal
No official Grant County page was found promising automatic mugshot removal after release, dismissal, acquittal, or expungement. If a court expunges an eligible arrest or case under New Mexico's Criminal Records Expungement Act, the practical route is to follow the court order and notify the agencies that still show the affected record. New Mexico DPS and New Mexico Courts publish expungement information for qualifying criminal and related public records, but tribal and federal records fall outside the state expungement process.

The BOP Inmate Locator is useful for federal custody, but it should not be treated as a Grant County booking-photo source.
